Spicy Cinnamon Jolly Rancher Infused Platinum Vodka
One of the really great things about Vodka is that you can infuse it with flavors that are limited only by your imagination. Vodka infused with freshly ground horseradish root is one of my favorites; however, that is not the recipe I'm going to share with you this go-round, guys. So, What do you need to start, you may ask. I highly recommend Platinum Vodka. It's not very expensive and it's 7X Distilled and it's relatively smooth straight, so it makes a good vodka to start as a basis for this drink. You'll need 375 mLs for starters, and if you can find it at your local liquor store, you can click on the picture below, which will take you to an online shop that carries it (of course you must be 21 years of age to purchase).
Now that you've tasted your creation and bottled it for gift-giving, here's a suggestion for another infusion to try....................Sour Apple Candy Cane.....................We haven't tried this one yet, so look for a future recipe or if you make it before I get to it, leave a comment with your procedure.
Next of course, you will need some Cinnamon Fire Jolly Ranchers. I recommend to start mixing 10 Jolly Ranchers to 375 mLs of Platinum Vodka in a glass jar that can be sealed air tight. Mason Jars make a good mixing container, but you can also use an old Vodka bottle you might have laying around the house.

Your Jolly Ranchers will dissolve overnight, if you shake them up a bit every few hours and then just let them sit while you are sleeping and during the day the next day. One of the great things about doing infusions with Jolly Ranchers hard candies is that there is nothing that needs to be filtered out before you do you bottle your creation. Now, you can keep your infusion bottled in your Mason Jar, or you can re-bottle it for gift-giving. Check the flavor first and see if it's what you desire. If not, you can either adjust by adding more Vodka if the Cinnamon Fire is too potent, or you can adjust by adding more Jolly Ranchers if the Cinnamon Fire flavor is too weak. Depending on how strong you like it, you're infusion will be somewhere between light pink and bright red. If the taste is what you want, then you can bottle in bottles such as these for gift-giving.
